I would say if the pay and Ts and Cs are enough for you personally then I wouldn't worry about what other companies might offer. I don't work for Northern but I can't imagine that outside London you have many other TOCs to choose from

As far as I know trainee driver psychometric tests use Group Bourdon / trp 1 and trp 2 instead of Scaat / Raat and hence you'd start afresh

If I rightly recall, that one test would count as your second and final life in the psychometrics. It is a question of whether you want to chance it or apply for a TOC / FOC that accepts standard (national)

If they've not said no then you might be on some sort of shortlist. Emailing them after 3 weeks would not be an unreasonable thing to do
