That will be if they have fixed the water leak and flooded tracks around Fairfield.

Transpennine Route Upgrade and Electrification updates

As I recall the bridge at Stamford Street East should have been dealt with in June 2021.

Ashton Moss was an area given over to market gardening. Per Google: The best known operators in recent times being Sowerbutts (Bill Sowerbutts of Radio 4 Gardeners Question Time being one of that family) and Arthur A Gent.

    Malaga trains

I don't know where Cloud Strife gets his false news on Fuengirola Station from. Being a local resident and for the matter of correctness and not wishing for false information to put people off visiting the area, these are two articles from local papers on the station refurbishment...

Transpennine Route Upgrade and Electrification updates

So, if reversals are going to be necessary at Piccadilly, is there any need to remodel the western facing throat at Stalybridge Station, as it's good to go as is.

It was technically not a reinstatement as Platform 5 is a total new build. The old bay platforms you refer to are long gone, now covered by industrial units and Stalybridge Fire Station There is also Platform 2, a west facing bay platform.

Transpennine Route Upgrade and Electrification updates

However is the remodelling of Stalybridge west throat likely to take place any time soon? With the works compound already established at Ashton Moss, it makes more sense to electrify up to Stalybridge, but only wire bay platform 5 in the station, as that will be unafected by the remodeling...

Huddersfield to Stalybridge electrification: How could this be done and how can the challenges be overcome?

What gardens? Behind the wall with railings on top is a footpath which runs the length of the houses. There are steps up to the houses front doors from the path. The doors to the houses visible, are their only doors for access, from that footpath. There are no gardens. Access to the footpath is...
