    New drivers & incident rates

What happens when that happens. Assuming it is driver error with no other reason for it.

    What is causing driver shortages?

The dmi dig I made was at the poster I quoted. I'm assuming he can do the job as he's now an instructor. I'll hold my hands up and admit my comments were out if order. Long and bad day in work and I wrote it in a bad mood. I've seen many people fail. My police training a few were given...

    What is causing driver shortages?

For someone who struggled to pass the dmi and found it hard, maybe you should be a little more supportive to those struggling. Not exactly sure what a chop ride is, but I'm guessing it's what the mighty think those who struggle should get and pushed out of their job. Maybe they should do...

    DMI

Learn a bit about the company. Traction, investments plans etc. Maybe higher management to chuck a few names in. Research the role of train driver. Risks you think of, what the day looks like, colleagues within the rail industry. Then it's very much like mmi with scenarios, tell me a time...

Coming from Self Employment, Employment Verification History

Should imagine so. They just need some proof to satisfy the checks. Worst case scenario if you need the form from hmrc mine only took 5 days to come

Coming from Self Employment, Employment Verification History

I had to get a letter from HMRC. I had 3 months where I was redundant and between jobs. Didn't want a job in between as I already had one sorted. But they wanted the employment history letter from hmrc

    MMI changes

No. It is literally one sentence. So I pulled a person from a burning vehicle in an emergency situation. Then they will ask all they need to know around that. You would answer in STAR format. They are good are probing you for more if needed.

    MMI changes

I don't recall it being timed. But you flick through it quite quickly once you get in the swing of it. I know I finished quite a bit before others in the room, so if it's timed you get plenty of it. In all honesty I'd be surprised if anyone put the wrong answers on too many. Just keep in...

    MMI changes

You do a situation test on pc. Supposedly it's not marked. But it's to gauge your attitude to risk. All pretty straightforward. You then do a mmi with someone. 6 questions which you usually write a short sentence about. Then they probe you on it in the STAR method

Are Talent Pools worth the paper they're written on?

Depends on the toc I guess. Me and a few others I know where in the pool for about 2 weeks. And from applying to training will only be 5 months. But it is hit and miss as you'll see from reading these pages

    DB Cargo application

Have a look through this one. Few on there applied https://www.railforums.co.uk/threads/db-cargo-trainee-train-driver-2021-2022.217285/ 1660232112 Go to the last few pages

    Scotrail enhanced or standard?

Did they not say you were in the talent pool. For my toc if you pass everything you go into the pool and await a job opening.

    Assessment Day Help

On first glance you will think it's alot. However when you read through it you'll get a feel of what they are going to ask you.

Appreciate that. Thank you. Is there a minimum employment term or can it be from day 1.
