Just found out I got a border line pass on my second attempt at my first stage of the trainee driver assessment having failed at the interview last time. However,the OPC have just informed me that in October the new trainee driver assessment comes in and I won't get another chance to take it...

Is anybody else still waiting for their results from the 1st stage assessment at reading on 30th may? I called FGW last week and was told the last batch of results had just landed on his desk and I would know within 2 days. Still not heard anything.

Is there anybody else who attended the first stage assessments at Reading on the 30th May who hasn't heard anything? They must have marked them all by now. I'm beginning to think they may have lost the results or something.

I expect this incident will somehow be Network Rail's fault like everything else seems to be.

I don't think you need any qualifications at all to work on a XC service.

I managed to get through to HR today and got told they're still processing the results...really? Funny how folks who did they're tests after me have already been to 2nd stage testing. I just need to know either way soonest.
