Bits of Freight at West Brompton

He might have been on the wrong platform for any number of reasons or he may have wanted a different view/angle of the train. Still it's his choice surely. :!:

Bits of Freight at West Brompton

Excellent photo of 37607+37606 on the Serco. Sometimes it's not possible to get on the right side of the sun, more so when photographing from a platform.

    Railtalk issue 9 (with improvments)

The photo quailty is very good unlike some online mags. The piece 'On Location' about the Southampton area is wrong, the Bevios valley area (Mount pleasant crossing and St Denys) are the most popular photo locations as is the Down Goods Loop footbridge outside (to the west not south) of...

67s have run on the Weymouth route a few times over the last few years so that shouldn't be a problem.

    Sandy South

Nice shotos Tom, also see from your site that you have been photographing in the Boscombe area you dirty boy. :-D The Wool sand train is very photogenic since they swapped wagons although it throws up a lot of sand so not a good idea to photograph it from a bridge as i found out a few weeks...

    Southern Day Out 29/5

Some nice photos there Rich, Test lane crossing is quite good for services towards Romsey. That's 6M58 Southampton Western Docks to Bescot which runs top & tail into the down goods loop (front loco uncouples, runs into the bay at Southampton Central) back loco then takes the service forward via...

Loco Hauled to Weymouth this summer.

Really. What we know so far. EWS sign a contract to supply and crew? locos for FGW but what route? What we don't know. Where are the coaches coming from? What traction? What services? For how long? When does it start? Why know one knows (not even staff it seems)? Why would FGW...

    Pendo Released

Just downloaded it and had a little try certainly worth the wait. I swapped it for the 23:00 Maybank to Hammerwich and replaced the HST. Well done to all involved.

To be honest it's guess work and rumours, anyone can guess and between us someone will get it right. I know someone who signs the route and has done for years and knows of nothing where as normally they would by now, don't mean it won't happen though. My guess 158s. :?:

ISO, Shutter Speed and ISO Information advice.

Good thing about Opanda is that you can see what settings other people used as it reads all settings from all cameras.
