    16.42 Clapham Junction to Brighton SN (01.05.15)

    This is a booked 12 car service. Normally busy from Clapham Junction, but you won't have any problems getting on. You should get a seat from East Croydon - although probably not seats together if you're travelling in a group.

    DB London Spezial tickets

    All booked now - just one further query... Went to book these tickets for travel on Monday 6th July, and was on the DB website at 23:00 (UK time) on the 5th April as this was when they went on sale. Was surprised to see they were 159€ (1st class) each rather than the 109€ we were expecting...

    I'm going to be travelling from London to Berlin in July using one of the DB London Spezial fares in 1st class. Does anyone know whether this gives you a seat in Standard Premier or Business Premier for the leg between London and Brussels? Thanks

    Predictable news for Govia satisfaction... and thats before Christmas came

    It will be interesting to see how Southern and GTR do in the Spring 2015 survey, especially if the situation doesn't improve at London Bridge. The service has been in decline for a good year now though, so the scores are completely understandable. Just makes me pleased I don't have to pay...
