    York - Peterborough shuttles.

    If LNER are so short of stock or have been lately, why is the shuttle between York an Peterborough regularly formed of two 5 Car sets?

    Why do TP run a Newcastle to York shuttle.

    Noticed now for a few weeks that TP are running a shuttle service from Newcastle to York. I have no idea why they should do this. In 50/60 years of following railways I have never known this before. The line is not exactly short of services.
