Thanks for all the advise but I think we’re getting side tracked. I’m not concerned about the 26-30 railcard discount I just want to figure out roughly what to expect back from my gold card if I refund it now rather then waiting :)

My cost is going to go down from £470 which I’m paying a month back to work to around £266-304 depending on the amount I work from home so it’s definitely worth it for me I just need to work out the refund amount for my gold card so I can see if it is worth doing now or waiting till it expires.

Hi James, Yeah I do, I have friends that use it during peak and they get their third off so I think it’s fine. It takes my daily costs from nearly £30 to £18/19. Thanks, Dan
