It closed on the 18th August. I was also signed up for alerts but after a while it became apparent that signaller jobs weren't coming through. Hence the reason why I look every couple of days.

The process is slightly different. I think they are expecting a shortage in signallers going forward and are preempting this. I cannot offer more than that regarding the first part of your question as I do not currently work as a signaller so have no inside knowledge. The application form...

Hi Macca, this process looks like it will go along the same lines as the previous mass recruitment for north/east. What I mean is that you don't actually answer the 69 questions there are only about 8 and two of them are asking you about location. It might be worth you starting the application...

Not sure, but as part of the process you select the locations that you wish to be considered for. The application also states that you must live within 60 minutes of the location/s that you are applying for.

That makes three of us for that area that have had the same experience. Does your application status still say assessment 2 complete? Will let you know if I hear anything.

That's what I am hoping. Hopefully they will recruit for that area in a couple of months.
