    Stockholm Alranda Border Control

Had the same when I went there a couple of weeks ago, E gates on exit no stamp and just a cursory glance at passport by gate staff on departure.

    Baildon landslip

Looks like this will be shut for a while, Northern's website showing all Ilkley Bradford services cancelled for tomorrow as well.

    Signalling Codes

I don't think the Metropolitan Reversible can be used when there is service disruption anymore as I'm sure South Eastern drivers no longer sign it.

    Northern Ad hoc cancellations

After what has been a reasonable week re cancellations it looks as if normal service has resumed on Northern, over 60 already cancelled for tomorrow and quiet a few for today as well although there has been a major signaling failure between Leeds and Halifax which is causing chaos on the Calder...

Southeastern joining trains at Ashford International

The 1635 from Canterbury West is shown in the public timetable as a join up at Ashford, that's the National rail electronic time table (table 189) I don't know what SE's own timetable booklet shows though.

    Northern cancellations getting worse

I think the Heysham boat train has been cancelled everyday this week as have loads of trains on the Morecambe branch as well. No mention of replacement bus's on Northern's website although I didn't think they had to provide any as these cancellations have gone in before 2200 the day before.

XC HST Leeds - Swanage farewell tour 26/09/23

Assuming this is a day trip you are looking at a long one, a minimum of 7hrs each way I would guess.

TRIVIA: Longest dwell time in the middle of a continuous service

You are correct re the connection with the 0730 919 service there is even a note in the current citylink timetable saying that this journey will wait up to 10 mins for the train if its late.

    Northern cancellations getting worse

Yes I did see a York Pullman coach at Harrogate station around 9 last night when I came out of the Tap pub by the station. Another half a dozen or so canx today as well including last up & down from Harrogate to York and last Leeds Harrogate as well with the usual caveat on Northern's disruption...

    Northern cancellations getting worse

An awful lot of cancellations on the Harrogate's this afternoon looks like at least 3 diagrams (or parts of) not covered the worst I've seen for a while. with the 2006, 2029 & 2129 Leeds all canx there will be a gap of 3 hours this evening although there is the LNER from London (2100 ex Leeds)...

Trouble at t'Whitby last night? (20/02/23)

I know the early morning train is withdrawn from the May timetable change, is this late one going as well? If so it won't be a problem any more.

    Transdev Blazefield

A bit of good news, earlier today I read on the 'Stray Ferret' (a local online news outlet for Harrogate) that North York's council have agreed funding for the 24 Harrogate to Pateley Bridge until at least April next year and still to be operated by Harrogate Bus co.

Southern Service Run down this Friday 7th.

I assume you're asking this in relation to the RMT strike on Saturday if so then trains should run normally until close of service as the night turns book on before midnight and will work their full shift.

Which section of line is 'signed' by the fewest TOC traincrew?

I would suggest Settle Jn. to Carnforth, I believe only Skipton crew's sign it.
