    Pointless journeys in London

Hanger Lane to Park Royal? It's only about 1km between the two and it's very similar to the West Acton and North Ealing suggestion early in the thread.

How would you convert Stratford International to live up to its name?

Does it? Do you have any proof for this, as I am seeing a lot of support to reinstate international services from Ashford or Ebsfleet or both.

You'll be saying it was hand written next...

Royal Mail lost my response letter

I would be amazed if the OP didn't keep a copy. In 2023 letters should be word processed

    Russia-Ukraine war: Poland

Russia is attempting to do that right now in Ukraine. That 2 week blitzkrieg Putin was attempting is fast approaching an 18 month campaign. I live in Poland and can tell you that tourism hasn't stopped. In some cases I'd wish it had as over tourism is a thing (think Barcelona). Accommodation...

    Alcohol on Romanian trains

So you went to another country and you didn't make any effort to check local laws or customs? I'm not sure what you want people to say, ignorance is no defence. Why do you describe it as a problem in Romania? To me this smacks of British exceptionalism and you would have done far more to have...

Krakow to Przemysl 11 October 2023 and return 17 October 2023

The booking horizon in Poland is 30 days, so you won't be able to buy the tickets before then.

Is there a debate about dual door buses outside the UK?

Still doesn't invalidate what I wrote though.

Is there a debate about dual door buses outside the UK?

But these are my views, and so saying the same as someone else clearly supports the position doesn't it?

Is there a debate about dual door buses outside the UK?

I haven't read all the comments (sorry), but this is such a nonsense debate. I live in a European country and all buses have more than 1 set or doors. Noone is falling out into mud or other such rubbish, and the concept that one set of doors are sufficient would be laughed at. In reality, it...

    GTR fare increase in May?

Why not use Oyster or contactless? It's a lot cheaper.

Rail station with wrong county name: should they be renamed?

The Ashford in Surrey is still referred to as Ashford, Middlesex. It's interesting as Middlesex doesn't exist in any capacity really as a county. I guess they do still have a cricket team though... 1683920554 The train station is Hayes and Harrington though, so I guess that differentiates it...
