eisenach

Hello!
Lot's of reasons really. I teach French and German at a school near Leominster. I spent months on a teacher exchange, teaching in Mühlhausen, and one of my favourite days out as to Eisenach. My musical hero is JS Bach, and he was born there.
Erfurt is also a great place, and has lots of Bach musical contacts, too. There is (or used to be) a fine, early portrait of JSB in the museum there.
My avatar is a picture of a DMU arriving at Leeds City sometime in the mid 1970s. Leeds is my home town.

Excuse me being nosey but the combination of Eisenach and Leominster intrigues me. Visited Eisenach several times in the last 20 years when I had contacts in Erfurt.
