was everyone on your course booked in to halls or just the unfortunate few?
I'm due to start signalling school in York 27th march and really hope it isn't in a halls of residence
That is great really appreciate your time to respond and that covers so much just want to get started now!
What hotel do you stay in? Is it the same for 10 weeks or might this change as it has done in the past?
Thanks
just a quick one for those who have recently started or finished at York.
What accommodation did you stay in? Was it a typical 9-5 day at training school? Did you spend couple hours in the evening studying with others on course? did you finish early on Friday? was meals charged to rooms...
thanks mate been a good 8 months by the time I start but will be worth it! Congrats to you mate.
Anyone know about the accommodation in York? I know I will find out soon but just a bit eager to know after waiting this long
had my interview just before Christmas and was offered job next day. Just got email back today confirming references and medical checks were complete so just waiting on a start date for my LOM which I think will be York at the back end of march.
Anyone else on this?
i had my interview late December and it was the 8 non technical skills questions so I was very prepared for them and it went well I was offered the job. you really need to show a lot of enthusiasm for the role and a willingness to work overtime, any questions just ask
--- old post above --- ---...
Morning all, just to update I had my interview on Tuesday and on Wednesday morning was offered the position so naturally I am absolutely delighted! Just awaiting the contract to be sent out. Thanks to all for help especially tony. If anyone has any questions about the interview I will be happy...
Well done great news before Christmas!
How was the interview? Did they ask about network rail? Why you want job? Being a signaller? Or was it just the 8 comp based questions? Any tips, cheers
I have mine on monday
i guess the answer I'm looking for is going to vary massively.
I passed my tests and assessment centre for position of signaller in October and I am hoping for an interview soon just waiting for HR to advise of dates.
I have contacted Hr but they aren't able to provide any updates.
How...
i had mine a few weeks ago and as others have said it is nothing to worry about.
Every task you have to do is explained properly and the teacher who is excellent gives you a few practice runs and once everyone in group is comfortable you do the test.
sounds really basic but with the lift...
