Thanks for replying John,i wasn't actually reading too much into it but the previous times ive applied in the past they used to state "Awaiting Shortlisting" this is obviously how they word it now

My Application states "Under Consideration" does this mean what it says that it is being considered for shortlisting ? or just a Standard genetic status that goes on all applications initially after submitting them ?

Know exactly how you feel m8,they continually mess Applicants about & continue to get away with it.One of the Keywords in their Job Description is "Honesty" well its time that honesty applied to the Recruitment process !!! why not just be upfront & let applicants know where they stand.
