Certainly apply. I’m a driving instructor and I have trained people of varying ages. No companies look at age as a factor and as long as you continuously perform throughout the course you’ll be fine :)

Wear your own shoes for now just make sure they are comfortable and smart ish. I wasn’t issued shoes when I came to chiltern but was given shoe vouchers to go and get my own at some point. I’ll also see you on the 15th, but not in the capacity you might be thinking ;) Congratulations!!!

Moves across from other TOCS as qualifieds don’t end up on the trainee courses. Like me when I came over I did the induction and was sent straight back to my depot. Just abit of FYI there.

I’ve heard the first January course is Aylesbury and Marylebone only. But there could be more than one in this month. Be patient though. I’m sure they will get round to you. The OPC itself is very busy at the moment as LNER trainees are going through in their batches.
