    LBC Europe Debate

Come on; YouGov, The Telegraph, even the centre-left papers like The Guardian are all showing clear wins of Farage. Yes lot of people are thinking about leaving the Lib Dems but a lot of UKIPs support is coming from Labour and the north-east of England anyway. You certainly don't strike me as...

    LBC Europe Debate

Quite a win for Farage this evening. 68% according to YouGov. And the left try to compensate by shutting the debate down using the 'white working class' remark as a pretext for the race card. Then the usual subversion from Labour - the cost of living crisis. This evening has had a...

    LBC Europe Debate

Let the classic RailUK fifty page politics war commence. :D Personally, contrary to that Daily Express headline, I'm not sure so sure Farage 'bashed' Nick Clegg. I think Farage was the better man, but not by that big a margin. Nor do I think the debate would've changed your view, at best...

Where have you been? Keeping train tickets or a log book?

I keep all my tickets. I have a massive stack of them, going back about six years. I used to do a spreadsheet - these days I don't bother, I travel fairly frequently but most of the time I'm doing the same journey(s), so my average mileage comes in at around 1000 - 1500 per annum. Perhaps...

    Tyne and Wear Metro Future

Snap. They should definitely consider that. It might be a bit tricky to build from the Airport, perhaps the extension could branch off from Callerton Parkway? I don't know how they'd do it, but I think there's a market nonetheless.

    Rugby Union

Together standing tall! Delighted to see an Irish win. Feeling very proud of my Irish roots, so happy the lads held on for a well deserved victory. What a close finish. What a close game. :D

Which political party do you side with?

    92% - Conservatives 90% - UKIP 69% - Lib Dems 64% - BNP 41% - Labour 28% - SNP I've got to say, I think that's exactly right. And no, the highish BNP score doesn't bother me.

What days do you regularly travel on?

I'm on the train most weekdays during the July - August period, otherwise, I rarely travel outside of Thursday evenings. (unless I'm going 'up north' on the East Coast, usually two or three times a year)

British Airways Club/First worth the money?

Yes it does, just checking to be sure. I'll be flying on to Male. Sorry I didn't make that clear. I known that Dubai - Male is worked by the triple seven so an A380 on the leg to Dubai would be the ideal arrangement. I'll have a few hours to spare at Dubai but if it saves money that isn't...

British Airways Club/First worth the money?

I'll definitely go from London. Are all the London flights A380? Etihad has been temporarily disqualified owing to their new stance on Israelis. It doesn't bother me personally but it does bother my fellow passengers..... I didn't know that. Thank you for the information, much appreciated. :)

British Airways Club/First worth the money?

I have heard this also - but from what I understand, it depends on the aircraft? The 777s are a bit outdated, with no bed as you say, but the A380 is better. The bulk of my journey (should I go) will be on-board the latter. 70/90 miles for Emirates/Etihad respectively - I'm within range.

British Airways Club/First worth the money?

So I started checking out the prices..... BA are asking for £5,000 at least. :o In contrast, Etihad will take me for £3,500, which includes a more up to date aircraft....and they'll send a car. Emirates will do it for a little over £3000. I should probably point out that this is a treat -...

British Airways Club/First worth the money?

We're planning on a long haul flight next year and trying to choose an airline. I've flown with a lot of carriers but the last time I used BA it was only on a short-haul from London to Athens. I wasn't impressed. This time, we're looking at getting an upgrade to Club World, their 'Business...
