Looks like late evening services are going between Ealing Broadway and Paddington in 10 minutes, earlier it was around 20 minutes between the two. Looks like getting trains from Hayes and Harlington instead of West Drayton is the best thing seing as Heathrow trains don't want as long. Enjoyed...
Currently at West Drayton there's a service westbound only towards Reading, trains are terminating at West Drayton, there's a stationary train in Platform 2 that's not in service.
There's a few interesting late night SWR services one I'm looking at now seems to run to Kingston via Strawberry Hill then returns to Strawberry Hill and calls at the same stations again so it stops at Hampton Wick twice 11 minutes apart.
No you can't do that journey with Oyster and the saving would be only a couple of pounds you might as well by a ticket and go fast most Newbury service from Paddington are fairly fast. Stopping services would take 50 minutes to Reading. Not including touching in and out at West Drayton.
It is an interesting one for example both fast and stopping services to Oxford say Oxford. I have seen overnight stopping services say Paddington up until about 5am when they switch to Acton ML or Ealing Broadway.
Just wonder when Crossrail does start there's a place close to Reading called...
I agree it's both, people should take their own little or put it in a bin not just leave it for someone else to do and train operators should give time to clean or employ more staff to clean them if there's not the time. But I know for years of experience the public are very bad at leaving...
In regard to the terminating at Ealing Broadway i think there was once a siding between the relief and main lines which could be used by services terminating at Ealing Broadway heading into London and then sent back out but that has been gone for a long time.
It's a shame what's happened to...
The only thing I'm not sold on yet, I had my first ride on Monday 21st are the on board announcements i don't like "change here for National Rail Services" i would prefer "change here for services to Greenford" I'm already on a National Rail Service. Other than that I'm happy with the first day.
Would it once have gone as far as The Thames when walking around Brentford it looks like an old railway bridge used to go across roads South of the A315.
