I worked on the Clacton Line Resignalling 2007-2010 when the station area was descoped due to the recession so I am hoping that it finally gets completed. Great to see another Tim Smith fan on here

Is there any news regarding Clacton Resignalling by Network Rail? As far as I am aware design works were completed quite a few years ago.

16:20 Ipswich to Cambridge cancelled today as 409 failed in platform 1

Was passing Kirby Cross at 11:42 this morning and saw a train in the up platform which is very unusual. I couldn't get a good look at it but I think it might have been a class 379 Any suggestions on what it was doing there?
