First in Halifax still have TOTO (tap on, tap off) fares under £2 for short journeys on 521/522/523.

Exactly the same happened when I complained about First removing the last service on the 521 in north Halifax. It made it not worth complaining, which is basically what they want.

The X17 Barnsley to Wirksworth in Derbyshire seems to be good value. Monday to Saturday it looks like a change of bus might be needed but the Stagecoach website appears to allow it to be done for £2. On Sunday the bus runs through, no change needed.

When I was a growing up in Sheffield in the late 70s/early 80s we'd very occasionally have a driver change inside the bus garage on Herries Road. (More usually in the lay-bys immediately outside though!)

They didn't when I caught it. It arrived into the Manchester bound platform and departed straight back out towards Bradford. It was running late, and made up most of the late running by doing so.
