There's a few companies now that come to your premises to can your beer in volumes as small as 1000l. A few years ago this wasn't a thing and bottling was the only way of doing it.
Cans are superior to bottles as they let less UV light and oxygen in so the beer stays...
Only place I've ever worked with a proper canteen was Airbus. The month I was contracting there I must have put on a stone with a full english every day.
Place I've worked for the last 14 years you're lucky to get a working kettle. The vans that deliver food aren't particularly nice either.
I'm not at liberty to say where except that it's not in the UK but I'm currently dealing with an expensive scientific instrument involving highly precise magnetic fields being shifted every time a tram goes over the underground lab facility. It was certainly a headscratcher to begin with.
Been here for 17 years, lived in Offa ward or Llan y Pwll and I've never seen those. There are the blue recycling bags for paper and card that blow around when empty I suppose.
Always been the boxes which I think appeared mid 2000s.
