North London Line freight train regulation policy.

There are so many variables here. 4L90 usually has to have a loco change due to other workings. If its got 1/4 tank of fuel its not going to make it to the port and then to Manchester. Fresh, full loco... no problem. The loco might have even needed an A exam when it got to ipswich. That...

    Post pass out mistakes

I came close to having a spad a couple of times within 6 months of passing out and it taught me a valuable lesson both times. The first time I allowed myself to become distracted by looking at my diagram to see what I was working back, and the second time I had become complacent that "that...

    Sounding the horn for crossings?

I always do both tones, regardless of what the rulebook says. It also says the driver may use the horn when they deem necessary. I'd deem it necessary to use high/low at whistle boards!

Prioritising freight vs passenger trains and how it works in other countries?

I think you should come back! Putting that stopper out in front of a liner means we're chasing yellows the whole way to Chelmsford. Happens to me regularly. Pair of 90s on the front and we'd be well out of the way of that unit! We have a job where we follow a C-town from stratford all the way...

Could Freightliner Class 86s and/or 90s be fitted with batteries?

Fair enough. Yes I do, but not one I'm willing to share with you, kind stranger 1686152423 I would like to add that pulling 1900-2100 tons up a steep bank with only 2150 at the rail is, in deed, next to useless. I speak from experience.

Could Freightliner Class 86s and/or 90s be fitted with batteries?

3782, they'll have to put them together again like a lego set

Could Freightliner Class 86s and/or 90s be fitted with batteries?

Sorry I can't be more specific, my employer has a very strict social media policy and I don't want to risk getting into trouble over anything, even if it is something as innocent as this! haha The 90s are still great locos and perform well. Considering they've been downrated as well, hopefully...

Could Freightliner Class 86s and/or 90s be fitted with batteries?

I couldn't possibly say, but it was from a reliable internal source! 1686054289 That's not to say the plan won't change of course

Could Freightliner Class 86s and/or 90s be fitted with batteries?

So likely much less whp than 2150, again useless. They can't be that good if the FOC who have ordered them are trying to palm a load off onto other FOCs..

Could Freightliner Class 86s and/or 90s be fitted with batteries?

The 86's are to be exported to Europe. The class 99s are next to useless for hauling freight on diesel at only 2150hp
