Blantyre is getting EV charging ports so I imagine some sort of electric order is going to follow otherwise they wouldn’t bother.
Plus the B9TLs will be coming up for renewal in the very near future so they’ll require a pretty big order to replace them - no doubt new generation E400EVs making...
The new livery is miles better than the urban livery. It has so much more character and it’s very striking unlike its predecessor.
Having a standard livery will prevent the constant cycle of repaints too.
If they are covering for delayed Electroliners then I imagine they’ll return to Glasgow.
However, with Blantyre going electric and the B9TLs ageing - I wouldn’t be too surprised if Glasgow sees a big order of new generation E400EVs in the near future.

A number have gone to Aberdeen from Dumbarton but Scotstoun have retained most of theirs. I’m sure many were due to go off lease last year but I don’t think that happened?
Hopefully a big order is announced soon to replace the B9TLs.
A few of Scotstoun’s E400s were loaned to Caley last week so I assume that’s where the E400s will go.
