Hi mate, so happy to hear you passed it all and have now been offered a place on the june course. Will probably bump into you sometime at the training centre in Reading. I am coming to the end of week four of training of which as been our first week in the classroom. Everyone is fantastic from instructors to line managers and even head of training and they really cant do enough for you.

Just read your first message and see that you applied for Paddington. Do you know if we all go on the training course and then go to our individual stations. Also if you know any more info regarding training ie time, place etc i'd be very interested in knowing, as I forgot in all my excitement to ask any questions regarding the training course?

Tell me what you know about our parent company?
What type of trains do we use?
What do you think are similar roles to train driving?
What would you do if you passed a road accident on the way to work?

Tell me about a time you failed to complete a task?
Tell me about a time you disobeyed an order?
Tell me about a time you've studied for long periods?
What do you understand by the term "Safety culture"?
Why do you think safety is important?
How would you ensure you were on top form for a night shift?
Why do you want to be a train driver for......?
What do you know about the role of a train driver?
What would you do if you saw someone breaking rules?
Describe a time you dealt with a difficult colleague etc?
Describe a time when you communicated a complex message.
When did I make a mistake and what did I do about it?
