Yes, re-apply. I applied summer of 2018 then in the December I reapplied. My first series of tests were in Feb 2019 and I eventually got the job in June 2019. At final interview I asked which application they were running with and was informed it was my first. Both were almost identical in any case.

Sundays are optional and get paid at OT. I made myself unavailable for Sunday work and the last one I worked was March 2023. The weeks alternate between early and backshift each week. As above Week 1 - RD's Mon, Tues, Sun Week 2 - RD's Wed, Thurs, Sun Week 3 - RD's Fri, Sat, Sun. So as...

Sunday roughly works out one in every 4 or 5 weeks and is overtime. However you can make yourself unavailable to work them. I have not worked a Sunday since the emergency timetable finished as I made myself permanently unavailable.

I was in the job a year and application still showed under consideration. It means nothing really. I got invited to stage 1, 11 months after applying.

With regards to AL, you have 5 weeks, taken as 2 blocks of 2 weeks and a block of one week. You also have 6 lieu days and PH's at Xmas and NY to factor in also. The shifts tend to be a week of earlies followed by a week of lates and on a 3 weeks cycle, ie Week 1 - Rd's Mon, Tues and Sun Week 2...

I applied May 2018 and when I had my final interview in May 2019, I was informed that over 20000 had applied although they never said how many positions there were on that particular recruitment drive.

There is an article in yesterday's Herald, apparently 4500 people have applied for 116 trainee jobs. I would of excepted a far greater number of applicants.

    Maternity in training

I would think all TOCs would work the same, risk assess and you would have no choice in the matter. However, that is only my view and management or human resources would be better placed to answer that. It is likely your company has an SOP on the matter and that would set everything out.

    Maternity in training

Certainly at my TOC, when a female driver becomes pregnant, she is put onto restrictive duties, ie office based. Think in your scenario, it would be similar to trainees during the early covid times. Once you return to work, you will pick up where you left off more or less

Likewise, me also. I then had a stage roughly every month.
