Coronavirus: How scared should we be?

Can you get both at the same time ? Is this virus, not a (nasty) version of influenza ?

Coronavirus: How scared should we be?

Indeed, COVID goes on the certficate if you had it at the time you passed away, not just if it actually caused the passing, and also remember on a bad flu year, global deaths can be upo to 650,000, check what the current figure is ! World Health Org says on average 300,000 to 650,000

Coronavirus: How scared should we be?

So with every flu epidemic we get from now on, will we go into 'lockdown' ? those that are elderly and at risk, are it seems advised to stay indoors in every bad flu season, yet we seem to ignore that ! They say it was to protect the NHS, NOT us as such, but what about all the news reports...

Double SPAD near Crofton West Junction

There is no requirement (or need) to have TPWS on plain line signals, some do have it, many don't, Junctions will have TPWS / TPWS+ However if there is a 'fault' with the train, TPWS will be useless, as will AWS, the internal investigation will get to bottom of it, and fairly swiftly.

RAIB Report 03/2020: Class investigation into human performance in signalling operation

Is it a person on their own, walking with a pack of dogs, or is it a car, maybe a tractor, or an artic with trailer, there are different rules for different requirements, pressing a button which lights up will not cut the mustard, and if you are going to talk to them, then picking up the phone...

RAIB Report 03/2020: Class investigation into human performance in signalling operation

Far too 'iffy' to be adopted, Mobile phones are fickle at the best of times, and as for a QR code, many would not know what you are talking about. A direct line is much preferable, crossings in the box are clearly marked, it is the user, who may use a local name, or even one he calls it...

Where do you think will be the best place to travel to by plane after lockdown?

I am booked to the USA on 29th August, B.A seem confident that it will all go as booked, Have to say the proposed 2 week self isolate on return, if it is still in force in September is a bit daft really, far, far too late.

    Have you had the virus?

Which, if has been said by WHO, is correct, that is what 98% will have.

    Have you had the virus?

They have stopped doing it, oversubscribed !

    Have you had the virus?

Think quite a few had 'it' before it was COVID19 ! also if we put this in perspective, as it is treated as a Worldwide event, there are between 6 Billion and 7 Billion people in the World, of which 4.5 million caught have caught the virus, and 317,000 have died.
