I’m mid way through using one of these return tickets and have the return journey to make in January some point. Can I/should I zero excess this to. Brighton Southampton service as I bought the ticket in good faith. I don’t know where I would stand if using the return and find it’s not valid...
Interesting comments as I’m pretty sure it was suggested here that was the way to do it when I asked previously
I’ve not had any problems previously buying the ticket at Waterloo or with ticket inspections on the train or by barrier staff at Southampton and indeed the ticket opened the barriers...
I have been travelling on an Off Peak Return between Brighton and WOOLSTON route not London restriction code 4B for many years now and usually travel short and use the ticket between Clapham Junction and Southampton and return.
With a Network card this is currently &21.30. Occasionally I’ll...
Whilst I’d be very hesitant to support P&O after their staff debacle I was wondering if the rail sea day return tickets had been discontinued.
The only reason that I ask is the fare listed on BR Fares is £9999.99.
I travelled on this ticket many times for a few hours in Calais and enjoyed...
I guess it depends on how the training is done. I’ve worked for an institution and we’ve transferred a contact centre and processing site to India. A team from India came to the UK for 2 months and trained amongst UK teams and then this team and a group from the UK office went to India for 2...
It was £20 and the cost of the journey was £5.

I was told the agent just...
Posting this here but mods feel free to move if necessary.
I had an advanced Southern ticket from London Victoria to Southampton for travel earlier this week.
I contacted National Rail Enquiries and asked what my options were for travel as I was confused by their website with revised...
When a TOC said a delay for me was 59 min not the 61 I was claiming I asked to do a Data SuBject. accesss Request to include personal data of me to include the onboard CCTV footage and platform footage that would evidence the 61 mins.
The claim was paid at 61 minutes.
If someone sneezed towards you with (possibly covid 19 infected) droplets would you prefer to be 2m away or 1 m away or immediately next to you and would you prefer if they wore a face covering?
In the case of a Network Card it’s pretty much geared for off peak leisure travel which isn’t permitted now due to the lockdown regulations. Therefore one would expect its validity to be extended or cards now rendered worthless to be refunded.
I’m in a slightly different situation. I renewed my Network Card online at the beginning of March. I used to have them from January to December bought at stations but didn’t travel in January and February so didn’t renew at that time. I intended to travel at the end of March. With the lockdown...
If a journey from A to B in standard class is £30 And a journey from A to B in First Class with a railcard is £31 can you buy the former ticket and subsequently within ticket validity buy a railcard and then pay an excess fare of £1 and travel in First Class for the return leg of the journey?
