With regard to getting new stock into new scenarios, be sure to check the manuals that come with each purchase. They can be found by going to the Tools & Docs tab and then opening the Manuals Folder.
Some exciting nuggets of information are held in the manuals. :)

Not sure if ive missed something but Ive gone back to taking the train from Brookwood to Guildford after a stint of driving into work.
My week ticket cost £33.20 (covering 7 days of travel)
Out of curiosity, I checked a ticket machine for a peak return to Guildford that day and it...
RailSim was designed and released before Win7, so its not guaranteed.
RailWorks however is actively being progressed by its developers, and so should officially support Win7 soon. While it does run on Win7 already, it isn't officially acknowledged.

The thing with RailWorks is that you only ever need buy it once. RS.com provide free upgrades to it as development progresses. So even if someone says its not worth buying now, it may be in the future, but the price may have gone up by then.
