In 2023, Vintage Trains ran some Merrymaker style, seaside excursions. Think they were heritage diesel hauled. Are these not happening in 2024?

The Class 40 hauled Whistling Highlander from Crewe to Inverness on 24th Feb. Does this train formation from Realtime Trains represent a class 40, the Intercity Mk3 set and trailing loco? Or is a shorter / alternative coaching set being used? Looking forward to a great trip this weekend.

How much dining accommodation do you think there will be? Does the Intercity set have a kitchen car, will it 'borrow' one or do you think it will be a different LSL set, marketed under INTERCITY?
