I've been in the talent pool since November 2018, for Gidea Park. I have given up waiting, luckily I start with Greater Anglia tomorrow.
Goodluck to those of you that are waiting for a start date, hope you don't have to wait too long.
I got offered one at the beginning of January but I wasnt able to make the date they offered so I had to decline. I have since got a start date with Greater Anglia so I am not too fussed to be honest but I never heard back from them with another interview date.
Got offered my start date today and official job offer. Literally start 1 month today, so handed my notice in! Anyone else on the same course? Looking forward to new career! :D
Can anyone advise what the salaries are for Freightliner? From trainee to full whack.
I've got an interview for freightliner in the new year, but I'm also on the final stages of a job with Greater Anglia (had medical, waiting start date). I was thinking of going ahead with the interview as a...
I'm currently in the last stages of getting a trainee driver job with Greater Anglia (had medical) waiting for start date now. Served 11 years with the Police, the job is awful now, cant wait to get out!
So I emailed my HR and they said they give employment dates and last 2 years sickness dates. 2018 I had 0 days sick but 2019 I have had 18 days sick. Hoping this doesn't affect my application! The medical form asks for sick days for last 12 months so that's not ideal!
That's great, thanks mate.
Any idea what they ask for in terms of references? I've had an unlucky year with sickness/football related injuries and had quite a few days off, I'm a bit worried they may not like this.
I work for the Police so I dont think they disclose your sickness record in a...
Cheers mate, I was told colchester as trainee driver.
I was told there is a course starting feb for colchester so hopefully that will be the one I'm on (fingers crossed)
Anyone know the approx time between passing medical and getting a start date, also what's the process inbetween, I take it they do references, uniform etc? Got my medical 6th Dec so fingers crossed that's all ok, I'm keen to know if I'll be starting sometime in the early part of 2020
Had my DMI today with GA, from what I can gather I passed, as he said I'll let HR know I am happy with you and then they will arrange your medical etc. Hopefully that all goes well and I will get a start date for the new year! :D
