    TFL run the night bus service through the early hours, every 30 minutes or so. If you can get to Liverpool Street or Stratford, then Stansted isn't too difficult. Not ideal if you have bulky luggage, but it's cheaper than a taxi or an overnight hotel.

    Stone horse troughs, usually with an inscription pronouncing civic pride. I've seen a couple in public places, used as planters, but the ones I knew as a child have disappeared, presumably decorating someone's garden.

    I did watch it back in the eighties when it was originally broadcast, but hadn't seen it since. I've always fancied Barbara Flynn and I'd forgotten how good Graham Crowden and Davis Troughton were.
