Are the new covers moquette rather than flat cloth?

Portsmouth has 2 x 24 hour night routes, 7 days a week; Service 2 (First Solent) and Service 23 (Stagecoach)

I liked the East Lancs bodied Leyland Atlanteans that Portsmouth City Transport had (CPO-W batch) and the London Transport Metrobuses.

First Solent haven't produced any printed timetables since Covid. The only way to get a printed timetable is to download and print it off yourself. Annoying if you don't have a printer at home!

Will 8525 be the 5th unit to pass through Widnes?

Has the refreshed 166 unit had any work done on its small toilet? The majority of time I travel on 166s these seem to be out of use. I recall someone saying it's due to availability of parts? One unit I travelled on recently seems to have had an updated toilet fitted (207 I think)?

Very odd. The First Solent 13/14 and 22 were just re-tendered in April 2023. Must've been a very short tender!

No paper timetables for First Solent services since before covid. Everything has to be downloaded & printed from online. Not much use if you don't have a printer!

Stagecoach 23 in Portsmouth is also every 10 minutes

In Portsmouth we have service 2 (Paulsgrove - Gunwharf) every 10 mins on Monday to Fridays.

In the Stagecoach press release it said that Portsmouth would be getting a batch of these vehicles. Would they get part of Chichesters batch?

X4 Solent Ranger uses the M275 in and out of Portsmouth

Sad news for the staff employed by CityRed. I hope they all find employment in these current tough times. The local HQ for Dorset, Solent & Berkshire is at the Empress Road depot in Southampton. The depot itself is only about 10 or so years old, so I wonder how this will affect that too.
