I am scheduled to travel to Stansted on Oct 4, one of the just announced Aslef strike days. Any advice please re what happened during previous strikes. Did any trains run and if so how frequently? And what's the best alternative from central London?

Can anyone explain the speed limit in both directions on the Central Line between Perivale and Hanger Lane. It was in place yesterday (Sunday 21 August) but I don't know how long it's been there as I haven't been on that section for quite a few weeks. Is it to do with the HS2 tunnelling works?

Platforms 5 and 3. Both stopped well before the buffers. Then after abt 30 secs the drivers restarted and drove to usual stop position. I wouldn't know abt an investigation. I was only a passenger mate.
