I think Aberdeen's Guild St and Waterloo stations would have counted as they were in passenger use until the Joint station opened. A shame the connections associated with Guild St were lost as they'd make a good connection with the ferry terminal now.
Bridge of Allan station isn't dramatically further away, I'd guess about 25 min vs 12 minute walk. It'll be closer still if the proposed move to nearer cornton ever happens.
