I left the railway because I basically was able to take a better paid and more suitable job on promotion inside the Civil Service. If that hadn't come up I would probably still be on the railway.
I don't think you will be able to PM until you have five posts (or something like that) because of an anti-spam measure.
You should definitely bring up your experience in managing social media, this is very relevant and they will prioritise this. As you know, engaging with people on social media can be different to engaging with them face-to-face. Do you have much digital marketing experience? This will also be a factor, though GWR tend to leave marketing to their team at Paddington, as far as I know.
Do you have links to any social media profiles? They will definitely look at these too.
