Anyone sampled the new CS lounge at Euston yet? https://www.sleeper.scot/euston-guest-lounge/ I assume this means sleeper passengers will no longer be able to access the Avanti lounge at Euston, where the complimentary refreshments (if not the furnishings!) are probably superior.

I saw it leaving Victoria (from where they wanted full whack). Now racing it to Buxton on Northern for the quarry trip (£30 I was quoted).

Nothing! You have to wait until the end of your 2nd year for the counter to reset. It really is a poorly thought out and implemented scheme. Compared to an airline loyalty (or even LNER) scheme, it’s a joke; Typical Avanti / First Group.

2 hours before departure only (which is what the website still says). Also they have a new QR / eticket scanner on the reception desk at Euston, like you would find at an airport lounge.

Not sure when the ‘rules’ changed, but Avanti now allow 1 hour’s lounge access from arrival (although the website still makes no mention off it).
