The only liveries these days which look close to the same in any way is the Greater Anglia livery and Transport for Wales Livery and that is purely down to the similar uses of red and white in the colour scheme
Same issue as northern 195 and 331s.
probably applies mainly to existing trains maybe rather than new ones?
At least the 350/1s have got a suitable colour as the green looks a lot better than the silverlink yellow.
Plus by the doors, the 350/1s have a pale grey pole which works as it...
The mark 4s will probably join the mark 1s in having their poles repainted eventually.
SWR was in a different situation. repainting their poles in blue wasn’t acceptable as it didnt meet the PRM regs.
LNR green however does meet the regs. Dont see why they wouldn’t add the green when they get...
If anything has become clear from Johnsons speech is that we need clarity more than anything.
Especially on what is still allowed or not allowed once the restrictions on exercise lift on wednesday.
Anyone have any similar view on Johnsons speech?
I agree. I was mainly referring to what i think johnson should do with mass gathering like events such as festivals.
It will be interesting to see what action Johnson takes with both types of mass gatherings.
I would like to hear on sunday that mass gatherings are banned until September
it would make sense considering similar action taken by France and Ireland when they began the process of lifting lockdowns
Agreed. Personally I for one did support lockdown at the beginning but it isn’t sustainable past 3 months let alone 6, 12 or 18.
We need to move forward now and see what happens with social distancing and how the people react going foward.
Agreed. As far as trains are concerned the...
Well considering spain and italy had much harsh lockdowns People in the UK shouldnt be complaining. If we locked down earlier and locked down harsher, less people would have died. :'(
The more people who break and resist, the longer lockdown continues. Thats reality. People need to get on best...

I know we wont know the full impact until after the next lockdown review.
However, I thought as the new timetable is due to start the week after the review, it would be useful to get a discussion going...
Just seen the daily press briefing and I just wanted some imput from the forum over a question by ITV Robert Peston
Does the may timetable or increase in reduced timetable mean we are closer to exiting the lockdown?
I have been...
I cant either. The nhs is the priority in terms of PPE as well as masks.
Question is if the government insists on commuters wearing masks on trains and as well as other transport. Where will they get the means for such a large supply in a small amount of time?
Thats one of the things i am concerned about. The same applies to large gatherings such as festivals and concerts.
Festivals would be especially difficult and some near impossible to enforce social distancing.
I think all mass gatherings should be cancelled till December once the restrictions...
