There's a few drivers at Birmingham freightliner intermodal who don't drive.

I left colas nearly 2 years ago as a tamper driver operator the pay was £46,500 for a 40 hour week 32 weekends with an extra 4 paid as a bonus and overtime.

As above transit moves needed to put machines in place for weekly and weekend work sites.

2 week class 66 course full rules and regs 150 hours driving with mentor then learn routes.

Freightliner have open days this week for qualified train drivers it seems most companies are short of drivers.

Hi do you need to know the general duties for example overhead voltage,third rail voltage,site warden working as a few examples.

As far as I'm aware freightliner intermodal only not sure about other FOC.

Moved off your booked job claim 2 hours for a less shift and 3 hours for longer shift plus one hour for phone call.

I don't know the t&c's with heavy haul the tamper side was 32 weekends with an extra 4 added on Easter bank holidays and Christmas and new year bank holidays guaranteed to work as I've said working for the intermodal side has been a great move for me.
