LNER have suspended all restrictions so any tickets, including Advance ones, dated for today can be used tomorrow or Friday.

Their complete abandonment of the line north of Preston at the drop of a hat is appalling. Happens far too often.

This is just a wildly impractical suggestion for UK travel.
