Definitely suggest Brass, put what you can afford into it.
I looked at enginemans, but unfortunately wasn't for me, the returns wasn't enough.
I could save more and get better returns with a regular saver at the bank every year.
The way I understand it is;
Sundays paid at basic time. Minimum payment is 6 hours.
Rest day work (Monday to Saturday) paid at basic time plus a booking-on enhancement.
I could be wrong.
Sat my DMI this week. So hopefully waiting to get a response next week to see if I passed or not.
Was told in the interview all spaces on courses have been taken for this year. So if successful course dates in 2024.
Sunday's are outside the working week but are committed, if you don't want to work a shift you have to find cover, if you can't find cover you have to come in and work said shift.
Unfortunately I don't know what the Sunday rate is.

I know of people who are ahead of us.
Think they are going off your CBI pass date. So hopefully they will be in contact with us at some point next week.
I'm waiting to be contacted for DMI.
I know people who have had theirs. It's going in date order from your driver tests / CBI. As the others sat the tests before me.
