Only because Derby could probably make better use of such facilities, now and in the future. Kinchbus has relatively little work other than their Skylink.

I wonder if Kinchbus is being gradually wound down anyway ? - with plans for new electrics on Skylink (yet to be finalised) isn't that likely to get operated from a new installation at the Derby end ?

It's just not right to ignore the timetables on Kinch 9, 11, 12 etc because there aren't enough buses (or drivers) - and then increase the frequencies on Skylink. It's about time that someone like Centrebus or Vectare was asked to take over the Kinchbus local routes and let Trent run the Derby...

Kinchbus has been in a state for months/years. They should not have attempted to reinstate the higher frequencies when they were short of drivers, and buses. Now there's the Skylink taking up all their resources and everything else is left to rot.

In my view there are many comments on this forum which could do with far more facts and less guesses or biased views. As far as I'm aware, D&G are making efforts to maintain services where others have given up. This is much in line with the regular policy at other operations run by Julian Peddle...
