Yeah a lot of routes have been truncated and are tenders. More people live out in the outskirts in new housing and need a car.

LNER First Class if decent fare is my choice. I wouldn't bother with First Class on Scotrail, unless the fare is not much more.

Yes, The Avanti from Glasgow to Euston will definitely return. Wouldn't be surprised if XC reduce Glasgow.
