Does anyone know why it takes so long to load a fare onto a smartcard using a mobile phone? After purchasing online, it generally takes over an hour for the fare to be loaded.

Its the return part I wanted to refund. But I think you have answered it for me. Do you know how the refundable amount is calculated? I assume its not 50% Or is that the hidden dark world of fares that we shouldn't ask about!

does anyone know the actual rules around getting a refund on an unused inbound portion of a anytime ticket? LNER customer service just told me i can't do this, but i thought these can be refunded?
