would be interesting to see how much LC would charge on the 40/x40, as ERI-livi is £2 adult, £1 child. going by the zone system, the fares would come in at £3.70 adult, £1.80 child. but saying that, horsburgh are terrible at running the 40/x40, sometimes i've seen it running 30+ mins late.

That would give a link from the rest of midlothian to the fort, and nobody’s losing a link here as the prentice 108 is give or take exactly the same as the 106, would also help prentice as they can run later and more frequently.

the inside part can take 2 or 3 buses, and i’m not sure about round the back, maybe about 5 give or take.

looking at the new timetables i think the 23 may be moving back over to central, as some services are starting from canonmills again.

is there any depot movements? surely some of the surplus at longstone from the 33 will go over to marine for the 49
