Looks like 815+840 are the last ever double set in revenue earning service AFAIK, rode to Clapham and now heading back in on 845. Been a good day, thanks for the help with gen and to the people I met along the way, some of you who I'm guessing are probably on here??

Think Murray just meant in general. On another note, just watched a 377/2+/1 formation arrive at Purley on a Cat/Tat splitter, reminded me of when the 455's used to do the peak time fasts out of Victoria/London Bridge, occasionally in tandem with a 456. Sometimes splitting at Purley or the rear...

Ah nice! 833 struggled up the bank a bit between New Cross Gate and Brockley, doesn't help we're following a late running 378 :rolleyes: Got a bit overconfident and forgot about the 377 subs, just been bowled by 705 - have had 807, 833, 836 and 843 so far so not too bad, still got a bit of time...

Is there any likelihood that they'll end up on any of the old roads on Saturday, i.e. Victoria - Dorking/Horsham. Guess it's a bit early to tell at the moment, can't believe in two weeks time they'll bow out for good...still remember being a kid and seeing 804 in it's new livery for the first time.
