Thats more like what I'm after. Happy to work for my money and while I'm still fit and able overtime until it comes out of my ears. So what region do you operate within? I'm hoping to stay within the East Midlands but flexible for right job.

Have just googled it. Actually does look quite varied. We have a manned manual crossing just nr me (Rauceby) so I presume the guys opening/closing the barriers are Signallers? Is promotion readily available and how fast can you move up the wage scale? £25k with my military pension on top is ok...

I'm an Aircraft engineer which I love but fancy a change. Havent registered for resettlement yet as wifes doing a nursing degree and doesn't want me leaving a well paid job until she gets her first job! :| I am going to a few recruitment fairs with a specific one for the Rail industry coming up...

Hi all, Currently in an Military role doing Engineering/Standards/Managerial but looking for a change. Always had an interest in trains but never made the moves to investigate further, but as I dont feel I'm progressing fast enough with my current employer I feel its time to start gathering...
