Kevin Derrick /Strathwood has been lets say giving away Irwell Press books for the last 12 months on his website..I have bought some at very advantageous money !
The two authors that are/were Irwell Press have decided to call it a day.This was announced in April 2023,but I have just seen it.
The reason as they put it is dotage,old age.Sorry to see them finish.Note the company or and name have not been sold as was the

3 vols of George Dows Great Central for £3 the lot..Unfortunately dont drive now ,so my knowledge dates...
I personally know this person..Obviously unable to comment on him as a person ,but can say with certainty that he has not nor will he apply for planning permission for
what he is doing..Must admit that his station has been built by a professional as the finish is A1.

A1 seller..Dealt with him a lot from 2005 till he closed the station shop...He's a great character to chat too,having a very pronounced voice accent!..Very surprised he bought the shop as he was in early 70's at the time and frankly he was surprised how much work it was...As a person and seller...

Honest answer..Charity shop at best,bin at the worst.
Note I have some knowledge what sells as I in a limited way sell rail books on line..Books pre 2000 publication are in the main non sellers..
And quality always counts.
