Also had exactly the same email asking me to redo the SJT. Surely this application is dead in the water after nearly 2 years? I'm pretty sure it's the website pinging out automated emails and behind the scenes there is bugger all going on and it keeps the hopes up! haha

How did you manage to speak with someone? Live chat is always offline when i try and I've emailed them already with no reply after two weeks.

Is there anyone still waiting for an update on this job? I initially applied back in April and each time I log in it still says "application under consideration". Is this normal? I have emailed them and had no response but I can imagine they have a lot to get through.

Thanks for the reply mate. When you mention turn over is that as in a chance to go up to being a mainline driver? I currently work in the emergency services but becoming a train driver really appeals to me.

Very tempted to apply. The salary though is lower than my current job as it states £24,448 - £29,195 (Depending on Location)... Is this purely whilst training? Is there any chance of becoming a mainline driver at all and if so would it go up? Thanks
