    TrawsCambria / TrawsCymru

Some concern on Lloyd's Coaches Facebook site (where i found the timetable) of the removal of the 07.30 from Machynlleth to Newtown now runs at 06.54, Lloyds have replied stating a separate service will run at 07.30 to Coleg Powys. Also an apology from Lloyds for the late publication of the...

    TrawsCambria / TrawsCymru

Ive just tried a search for a bus service between Machynlleth and Newtown on Tuesday the 4th, traveline has given me 4 bus changes and i have to travel via Dolgellau, Bala, Wrexham and Shrewsbury using the T2, T3, etc. No mention of any buses between Machynlleth-Llanbrynmair-Newtown. Quite bad...

I am aware of that i live in the valley! Ceinws and the C.A.T are in Powys the Dulas is the county boundary. So not certain if Powys provide some funding, i know they fund some of the school runs into Machynlleth.

Is there an available timetable published? Im surprised that the x75 has never been considered to be Trawscymru-fied. Slightly off trawscymru.. I have read Powys have recontracted all there school runs for this September. I have also heard from a town councillor in Machynlleth the 34a(former...

There would have to be a level of service from September as the X85 was/is contracted to convey students to Coleg Powys, and some school kids from Carno to Caersws.

I've done it from Machynlleth to get me into Porthmadog for a gala on the ffestiniog railway, I nearly slipped up as the driver turned up at the depot and it then departed from there. I was waiting at the Town Clock the driver passed me and picked me up his car and assumed i was waiting for the...

    Most Scenic Bus Route

The S2 Sherpa bus from Llanberis to Betws-y-Coed. And a close 2nd was the then 94 service from Barmouth to Wrexham with one of Dolgellau's Bristol VRs. Now the T3 and has a couple of E400 Scania deckers.

Some people are genuinely homeless and in a difficult place, I always preferred a cup of tea to money.

ATW December 2014 timetable out to stakeholders

Surely no harm in running into the 07.12 path on a Saturday. Earliest I got to Loughborough yesterday was 1042. In Central days it was a much better timetable, with much better connections, that's in my experience of travelling weekly on the line since 1994. --- old post above --- --- new post...

ATW December 2014 timetable out to stakeholders

Annoyingly the first Aberystwyth to Birmingham on Saturday remains at Shrewsbuy from 07.00 to 07.31. On a Monday to Friday, there is a 07.12 London Midland service to New St. Ideal as it connects well with other services. Would it not be harmful for atw to run it at say 07.20 with a...

Biggest town/city in UK with no station?

In Wales it would have to be Caernarfon with no rail connection. A royal borough, plus the county of Gwynedd.
