Are there any plans for a pub to be located in the station (ie Wetherspoons)? Would be useful if you fancied a quick bite to eat and pint before getting the train home. :smile:
I went under it from Charing Cross to Lewisham last night. Driver got to Lewisham so quick he had to stop at a signal as he was a few minutes early. :D Im pretty sure it will cut jouney times to London Bridge overall.
Been reading this thread with interest. Will the Wimbledon loop trains still be going through the Thameslink core beyond Blackfriars or will they be terminating there. I know commuters using this service kicked up a fuss about this and won but surely this decison will be reversed once the rail...

So after the 27th it will only be open to the Southern Slow and Thameslink\Southern fast lines and not South Eastern right? Trains on the southeastrn line to Charing Cross seem to be annoyingly crawling into London Bridge recently which is a pain when you're standing on a full non airconditioned...
I usually get off at Hither Green and the train on the way home from work literally crawls through this junction. This is annoying especially on a packed train on a hot summers day. :D I think this should be looked at in the future especially if they decide to either extend the London Overground...
I have a funny feeling that they are going to complete all platforms quite early. Does anybody know whether or not network rail are ahead of schedule for completion of this project?
