Went past the SVR the other day and they seem to almost have a full rake of the mk3s! Does anyone have any details of their purpose there? Just storage or?
Nowhere seems to have a list of all the current EMR HST diagrams, perhaps a list here to be updated with the times would be grand?
Tried searching, couldn't find one, mods, if one does exist, feel free to get rid of this one and point me in the right direction!
Gotcha, just seemed most were starting to get a bit heated that 5s would be doing the golden valley and as a result, would be leaking passengers they would be that busy!
It's not that Cheltenham is losing all its nine cars, more that there is literally no reason to run hourly nine cars all the way through the day. In the off peak times, they'll be fives, they'll still continue to be 9s or even 10s in the peaks and on the shoulders of the peaks.
I've noticed some chords off the electrification section bit get some the poles(? Vertical bits of the Gantry) in place for electrification (e.g leaving BPW to Yate, the poles go on for some while), why is this? As BPW-Yate is getting no electrification, why the need (among other places)?
